20th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest People
The Lifesavers.
I am always amazed watching these young people training to be lifesavers. I watch them every week where they are given competition drill, and skill development. For the last 10 years, Plettenburg Bay South Africa has been chosen by top travel magazines as one of the most beautiful places to visit in the world. We travel there every year. It is a privilege to see this taking place especially as a multi racial group. Something I have never grown up with during the apartheid era.
