The Light Within
Inside an abandoned temple in India, an old man sits in silence, his face half-lit by the fading light. His painted skin and calm gaze reflect the quiet dignity of a life lived in devotion — a reminder that wisdom often hides in forgotten places. I met this man inside an abandoned temple somewhere in India. The air was heavy with dust and incense, yet peaceful — a silence that felt almost sacred. He didn’t speak; he simply looked up, the sunlight revealing half his face, painted with symbols of faith and time. In that moment, there was no language, only presence. This image is not about religion, but about human depth — the light that remains even in places long left behind.
