This photo was taken from a chair that happened to be sitting in the Denon Wing of the Louvre Museum. The permanency of the exhibit contrasts sharply with the transience of the viewers. To the right is a father and child in a classic example of such a relationship. The father appears to be enthralled and the child bored beyond comprehension.
