The meeting of the rivers
In the Amazon Rainforest, where white water rivers meet with black water rivers, the two do not immediately mix due to differences in temperature, density and pH. Therefore, this creates a spectacle where the highly contrasting colors morph into one another but don't fully merge. This photo was taken where the Tefé River meets the Amazon River in Amazonas state, Brazil.
