This oak tree is one of a handful that dot the Runge Nature Center in Jefferson City, MO. This one caught my eye specifically, as it branched out and shielded a great deal of the surrounding forest. I watched squirrels and birds scamper and fly all around this oak, and a rabbit dive beneath it's roots. It truly is a beautiful sight to behold.
