There are 6 monasteries found in Meteora, Kalabaka in Greece. They were built in the 14th century by Orthodox Christian monks who retreated to these secluded buildings atop large rock faces. This picture shows the Monastery of the Holy Trinity, which is the most difficult monastery to reach, directly above the city of Kalabaka.
