The photograph was taken during the trek of Phuktal monastery, situated in Zanskar valley in India. The route for the trek to monastery was quite high above the river and while returning back, I noticed that a monk in his traditional red attire was walking along the road, while the pristine blue Tsarap river was flowing along. I thought it will be a good frame to be captured to show the rugged nature of mountains, coupled with the ever flowing blue stream of the river, all balanced by the calmness of the monk walking.
