15th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest The American Experience
The morning after the storm on the farm.
An overnight snowstorm covered the farm with a few inches of snow, which required removal before beginning the day's chores. This added another hour and a half to an already long day spent outside in the Nebraska winter.
