20th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
The moss to the north
The photo is divided in half: on one side the bark of the tree trunk, on the other the trunk covered with green moss. I wanted to bring the view closer to better define this contrast given by the orientation of the tree.
