21st Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
The mountains
How amazing was to wander through these spectacular mountains. Steaming rivers and holes, beautiful colours and never melting patches of snow. Even, initially disgusting, sulfuric smell in the air, became less bothering. Its was a long drive on the wild Highland roads but totally worth it.
