The narratives of inter-being

The narratives of inter-being While these skyscrapers define the city's skyline, another world thrives alongside them, the wildlife of the desert, creating a striking contrast between urban splendor and natural beauty. This juxtaposition serves as a reminder to look beyond modern structures. As cities continue to grow and construction remains a constant, it's crucial to prioritize and enhance urban biodiversity to build sustainable and resilient communities. This image provokes thoughts about the sustainability of city planning and how a single scene can encapsulate the narrative of an interconnected, sustainable world. The United Arab Emirates, home to over 400 species of birds and animals and the largest mangroves on the Arabian Gulf coast, sees about 90 species breed regularly. Approximately 90 species breed regularly in the country, while the rest are winter visitors, migrants, or vagrants. During peak migration, around 250,000 waders visit the Gulf shores and mudflats, and about 200,000 birds breed in the UAE. Despite being worlds apart, they are profoundly interconnected, with deep layers of connection and coexistence.
