19th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest The American Experience
The Newest Arrival
Fifteenmile wild horses are one of the wildest American herds you will find in the west. Extremely tough to come within a decent camera range even using my 600mm zoom lens. Most days it starts with a mile or more in distance that I have to walk to come close to shooting them. It's very rare to see the new foals up close with most times needing the use of binoculars.
