We had hired a (very) small motorboat to take us back down the Nile to the Nubian Village we were staying in. As the afternoon turned to evening, we experienced the golden hour like never before! It was the most relaxing hour of our trip, and I was mesmerized by the calm water that truly looked like slowly undulating liquid gold to me.
