17th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Mobile
The noise of progress penetrates this quiet chapel.
I snapped this photo and a few days later construction crews broke through the walls and began merging the old building with the new. The chapel will soon be larger and, hopefully, peaceful once again.
