The now-abandoned farm in Virginia. A vanishing way of life...
My late father and his 14 siblings were raised on this farm in Victoria, VA. This working tabacco farm was the foundation for this large family. As a child raised in urban NY, it was my joy to visit the farm every summer. Now, most all who were raised here are gone. Memories? Riding the tractor, porch swing, pot-bellied stoves.... A vanishing way of life fondly remembered.
