The old Roman arches
Burnum was a Roman military camp, built at the turn of the century, likely during the reign of Emperor Claudius, but then expanded and improved during the reign of Emperor Vespasian. It is this that gives Burnum its most recognizable symbol today—the large stone arches that belonged to the camp's command post, the so-called praetorium.
