The Painted Wall of Black Canyon
I took this photo on my first road trip across the country, hopping between public lands (a rite of passage of sorts). We arrived at Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park in the late afternoon, and saw the Painted Wall in all its glory in the hazy evening light.
