The Paredes Glacier
During an extended excursion into the Canal de Las Montañas in Chilean Patagonia we came upon the Paredes Glacier. When we first arrived, the glacier was shrouded in clouds. But as we dropped anchor, the clouds dissipated and the sunlight illuminated the blue majesty of the frozen giant.
