The Peace Dome of Hiroshima, Japan

In the final light of the day, the ruins of the Hiroshima Industrial Promotion Hall, destroyed by the American nuclear attack on the city in 1945, are seen through the branches of a bare tree. The building is more commonly called the Atomic Bomb Dome, or the Peace Dome.
