The Philippine Jeepney
The Philippine Jeepney is an icon of Philippine culture. Originally it started as a simple form of transportation derived from leftover and cannibalized American Jeeps that were left after World War II. Over the years it has evolved into popular culture icon. In this photo a group of cultural performers road the jeepney on their way to a provincial cultural tour.
