Kumbh Mela, the largest religious gathering in the world, attracts millions of pilgrims from all over India. Giant crowds fill train carriages to the brim, create miles-long traffic jams, walk with bundles and bags, and eventually form a tremendous tent city on the banks of holy Ganga.
