The power of light

Severe storms are an infamous part of the life in the mid-west of the USA also known as Tornado Alley. When the storm arrived in this rural region of New Mexico just before sunset, the sky turned completely dark. Heavy rain made the sunset almost invisible and the lightning appeared to be even more powerful. In cities these storms are real threats that can be fatal. The climate change has not made these storms to occur more often but it has been proven that storms have become more extreme.
