This flooded cypress tree standing in the middle of the swamps reminds me of a dancer, the flashy red skirt lifting while twirling on stage. While most people can't imagine swamps as anything but dark and murky, they can be spectacular. Come in the fall, when the colors turn orange and red, and you will be rewarded with splendid scenery.
