The Princess and the Pearl
The Princess and the Pea is the archetype of section No.4 - The Princess And The Pearl. In the original, the author Andersen portrayed a princess who was so delicate that she could even feel a pea beneath tens of layers of mattresses pressing against her skin. With this, Andersen tended to ridicule the fragility and weakness of the royal members.I found the counterpart of Princess Pea around us today – the Peter Pans who had been spoiled by their parents who gave them whatever they ask for. These kids grew into immature and self-centered Peter Pans.
