The queen seamstress

Wandering around the streets of Pokhara in Nepal, a street-shop lady caught my attention. The lady is working at her sowing machine surrounded by threads, ribbons, and cloths. As I took the picture, she turned her head and her gaze went straight to me, delivering a mix of emotions into her stare. A stare which I see as soft but not spineless, inquisitive but not threatened. The items on her shelf almost act as a crown adorning her head, the queen seamstress.
