The Queen's Stare
As we were on a safari in the Pench Tiger Reserve, one of us spotted a movement in the rock patches. We waited there for 15 minutes but could not see anything moving. As we decided to leave and the vehicle started it’s engine, this female Leopard jumped from behind on this rock to check out the noise. The way she sat there in all her glory making it evident that she is the queen of that forest patch. It waited there staring at us for a minute and as soon as it heard more vehicles approaching, swiftly disappeared in the forest as fast and unexpectedly as she had appeared.
