Hana (and the Road to Hana) has become my favorite place to retreat from the everyday in New York City and get in touch with the earth and what’s most important in life. On a recent trip, we made a stop along the Road to Hana at Honomanu Bay. Our friend Kyle grabbed his surfboard to head up the river to explore, pausing momentarily to make a splash in honor of his birthday.
