The wood beams coming from the top of the adobe walls of a downtown building create sharp shadows against the tan-colored surface. Everything else contrast as sharply with the blue sky. Santa Fe is vastly different from any other city in the US. Unless you're there or see pictures like these, it's hard to imagine how even the details are beautiful.
