The Roosevelt Arch at Dusk

On a road trip through Yellowstone National Park, I came out of the north side of the park to the small town of Gardiner, Montana. The Roosevelt Arch is the grand entrance to a seeming unextraordinary space claimed as the first national park in the US. The long summer days that make sunset drag on for hours and the late afternoon rainstorms bring new light and life over the land.
