After a long journey to Colorado from New Jersey, by car, my fiancé and i had finally arrived. Our first national park to visit was The Great Sand Dunes and we found ourselves at the base of the 600ft.+ dunes and looking at the miles long uphill journey ahead. This photo was taken after getting back to the car from that journey, 6 months later and I still find dune sand all the way back in Jersey.
