The Season Moves On

This photo was taken in March this year on Liangjin Mountain in Kaiping. While hiking up the hill, I noticed this striking scene and captured it. It was springtime—most trees were filled with fresh green leaves, yet this one stood almost bare, holding only a single red leaf at its center. That lone leaf, though still clinging to the branch, seemed destined to fall—for spring is a season of renewal, when the old must give way to the new. As I looked at it, I felt a quiet reflection on time and change. Just as the seasons cannot resist their natural course, so too the flow of life and progress cannot be stopped.
