The Sewing Room in Plaboo Village, Mahasarakam, Thailand

The photo depicts the empty sewing room once the women had gone home after a long day. This room fosters laughter, creativity, and deep relationships. It gives jobs to many women who would otherwise not have one. A sustainable travel project to me means learning from the community one is visiting; it means listening to the voices around him or her. One must travel with an open heart and an open mind in order to take away a fulfilling experience and to leave the best mark.
