The single-nave basilica: The Lord's Church.
I visited this beautiful village of Palat in the municipality of Strumyani on July 29, 20. With my grandmother Maria and my mother. My grandmother had told me a lot about the past times about the Bulgarians who lived in these lands and about the beautiful church of St. Demetrius and the village has preserved its authentic appearance from those past times. I was upset to go there and take pictures through my eyes and read. It was built in 1857. The church has cult icons from the XVIII century. It was set on fire twice in 1878. and in 1913. It was restored in 1919.
