The Snow Woman

Yokai Onna (Literally Snow Woman) is a feminine spirit of snow and ice in Japanese folklore. Seen in remote areas at night during snowstorms. She is described as a tall beautiful woman with long black hair and inhumanly pale. I love to read about different cultures, discover them and represent them in my artistic self-portraits to open my mind and the mind of the public of my artwork. I believe that knowledge of other cultures is important for everyone's personal life.
