Hvaldimir was a solitary sociable beluga whale who entered Norway in 2019 wearing a harness and known internationally as the ‘Russian Spy Whale.’ I was fortunate to work with him in his last two years of life. This gentle gaze will be remembered by all who had the pleasure to meet him.
