"Laughter Amidst THE Pandemic" This is a photo taken midday of the Carousel at Pier 39. My husband and I were seated at a small table outside just above the carousel when I was drawn to the sound of children's laughter. I knew I was suppose to "slow" the moment down. Daily, this pandemic tries to empty us of our joy. However the tenacity of this treasured amusement ride somehow seemed to slowly whirl its way through any and all worry that lingered outside of its joyful boundary. On this breezy Saturday afternoon in San Francisco; the laughter was a gift.
