The Splendor of the Bighorn Mountains
Leaving Sheridan, Wyoming I had been warned that the Bighorn Mountains were exciting to traverse. Stories of brakes overheating gave me a bit of anxiety. However, only minutes into these dark, rocky beauties all fears dissipated giving way to sheer exhilaration. The switchbacks and sheer cliffs made the car ride through better than any amusement park ride. This shot was taken near Shell Falls in the Bighorn National Forest.
