14th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Travel
The stars light up the skies on a brisk night in Hawaii.
This shot was taken around midnight on the Big Island of Hawaii. I had my subject stand very still for this long exposure shot. We ended up staying up all night to capture moments on this epic night.
