"The Tugboat Baltimore at First Light". The steam tugboat Baltimore is moored at a dock at Locust Point across the Inner Harbor from downtown Baltimore. The image was appealing to me because it gives a feeling for the maritime heritage of Baltimore City. And the light on the tug was so beautiful at the hour that I captured the shot. I like the image because it is an example of travel - we are not from Baltimore -, it evokes the history of an important U.S. city, and it provides the contrast of the old and the new with the aging tug in the foreground and the buildings of the modern city in the background. But mainly it was the light.
