The sun sets on a dying dandelion.

I was wandering around the Huffman Prairie Flying Field in Dayton, Ohio taking photographs of the trees with my iPhone. When I turned around and faced the sun, I saw a whole array of dandelions spread out over the grass. At first I was frustrated by the fact that they blocked the beautiful green of the grass, but then I got down close and had a different perspective. I saw a tree in the background standing tall and just beginning to fully sprout its leaves, while the dandelion in the foreground which has died but has not yet spread it's seeds is juxtaposed against it. The sun is only about 15 minutes away from setting, and the park was closing in about 5 more minutes. I was on my way out when I took a few shots of this interesting contrast. I loved the many contrasts of the tall tree and the short dandelion; the sprouting tree and the dying dandelion; and the dandelion about to be reborn through its seeds while the sun sets on another day.
