I was walking along the Clinton River Trail and I felt like exploring and venturing off the beaten path. I stumbled across this beautiful inland pond and had to capture the shot. The way the sun streamed through the branches and how the water was so still that the reflection of the forest casted on it was remarkable. The leaves on the edges of the pond indicated what season the shot was taken in which was really neat! The photo is showing the beauty in a sunrise over a natural background in Michigan.
