In this ceremony, which is held every year at the end of the first month of spring and the beginning of the second month of spring in the village of Palangan in Kurdistan, Iran, people from the region come to play the daf to mark the beginning of the new year and the removal of gloom. They participate in this ceremony wearing local costumes. This ceremony has an ancient history. The ceremony is so beautiful that people come from all over Iran to see it.
