The education of our children stopped ever since the lockdown was imposed. The children used to just loiter around. Primary school teacher Deep Nayak took an oath and teaches everything from popular nursery rhymes to the importance of wearing masks and hand-washing to about 60 students and is popularly known as the "Teacher of the Street" to the grateful villagers.He changed the village hut walls to the blackboards and started a free school on the narrow village road since the mid of 2020. Now he is having 14 centre across Burdwan district of India and widely known as “Teacher on the road” or “Raster Master” in local language.Better education can provide a better future.
