The textures of the Great Sand Dunes
The sand dunes become rich with patterns and textures as the sun sets, making them beautifully photogenic. Many people would be tempted to take it all in with one shot, however there are many beautiful individual compositions to be had within one expansive scene. I always strive to photograph iconic landscapes with the goal of walking away with a unique photograph, one that isn’t a dime a dozen.
