With the background of one of the Trieste’s great landmarks, the early 19th-century church of Sant'Antonio Nuovo at the head of the city’s Grand Canal, four figures cross the Piazza Sant'Antonio Nuovo in front of the church. Each has their own trajectory and transverses the open space like figures on a stage play.
