The tiny living dragon

The Indian Chameleon is a Species of Reptiles found in Sri Lanka, India and other parts of Southern Asia. Like other Chameleons, this species has a long tounge, feet that are shaped into bifid claspers, a prehensile tail, independent eye movement and an unique ability to change skin color whenever it wants. I always wanted to photograph this tiny dragon and one day when I was on an expedition in search of the elusive Leopard Cat in the mangroves of Odisha. I came across this beauty and the moment it realized my presence it just stopped walking, froze itself and turned its body color as per the grass on which it was walking on and only his yiny eye moved.
