Purely fun and fantasy. A dark Fairy with wings of fire happens upon a Grackle that had just taken a drink from the water. She enchants the water making it shimmer like the fire in her wings and rendering it undrinkable. In a way, as humans, our selfish and oblivious behavior often does just this same thing. It is no wonder that nature's creatures often avoid us at all costs, as intentionally or not, we are often a detriment to their environment.
