The towering shadow cast by Mt. Rinjani on the Pacific Ocean
I was climbing Mt. Rinjani on a several week solo-trip to Indonesia. At the summit of this volcano, it's majestic shadow threw sharp lines over the soft rolling edges of its center, and in that moment I knew I was lucky to be alive.
