Cemoro Lawang is the gateway to visit the active volcano Mount Bromo in Indonesia. This town sits on the rim of the caldera of an ancient volcano in which Mount Bromo is located. On the right is the Sea of Sand that leads up to Mount Bromo and the other volcanoes in the caldera not shown in this picture.
