The Tradition of Gleaning
We visited the processing facility where the potatoes we grow are washed, sorted and packed: There is a tradition at the plant, where on the last day of the week, each worker is allowed one 10 lb. bag of free potatoes to take home. Pictured here, (if you look below the conveyer belt) are discreet piles of potatoes at the feet of each employee. :)
